Alessandro Enriquez is one of the most recognisable designers in the Italian fashion landscape: Palermo-born, cosmopolitan by vocation, he has spent years developing a creative vision rooted in irony, colour and a pop sensibility that turns every collection into a narrative act. With the capsule created for Kartos, this visual language shifts from the runway to the desk, from the bag to the set table. The iconic patterns of the Spring Summer 2026 collection — red strawberries on white, nautical stripes, animal prints, vivid and immediate pop references — migrate onto notebooks, notepads, portfolios, book covers, placemats and coasters, transforming every paper object into a recognisable piece, one that carries with it a fragment of that imaginary world.
The project stems from a shared reflection on the value of the written gesture. In an age where communication has become increasingly fluid, digital and immaterial, paper reclaims its original role: a place of affection, of thought made physical, of the object that is chosen, gifted, kept. Writing in a notebook, setting the table with a placemat, sending a handwritten card — simple actions, almost anachronistic, yet full of meaning. Through Enriquez’s patterns, these everyday gestures take on even greater intensity: colour becomes a language of care, pattern becomes a personal signature, and every object turns into a small declaration of style.
